Perdana Suyoto, MSc, RD is a dietitian and associate editor of CJN. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. After completing bachelor’s degree, he completed a one year dietetic internship program and is recognized as a registered dietitian by the Indonesian Nutritionist Association. His Master’s degree in Nutrition and Health was received from Wageningen University, in the Netherlands. He is currently working as a lecturer in Department of Nutrition and Health, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Gadjah Mada. He also a researcher in Center for Human Health and Nutrition (CH2N). His current research focuses on diabetes and metabolic syndrome, particularly on the role of gut in blood glucose regulation.
